Mitsubishi has been selling cars in the United States longer than some of its competing Japanese brands and certainly longer than Hyundai and Kia, a pair of Korean automakers. In the 1970s, Mitsubishi began to sell its cars through the Chrysler Corporation, with rebadged Plymouth and Dodge models filling out the Detroit automaker's product line.
The Galant in 2007 was redesigned and had changes to both exterior and interior of the vehicle. They also replaced there sporty version of the GTS with the Ralliart model. Mitsubishi boosted the V6 engine to 258 horsepower. The V6 model also replaced the four-speed transmission to a five-speed. The 2007 Galant also added side airbags as a standard feature to all models.
If your searching for a cheap performance car under $1000 dollars its hard to over look the DSM mitsubishi eclipse. For those not in the know DSM stands for Diamond Star Motors. Although this profile is for the Eclipse (1990-1994) the Eagle Talon and Plymouth Laser were part of the Diamond Star trio and are basically the exact same car with a few different aesthetic touches. These cars are starting to consistently fall into the sub-$1000 dollar price range and have for many years been offering enthusiasts a lot of bang for their buck.
The new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is offered in two different versions, one being the GSR which only has a five speed manual transmission, Recaro Sports Seats and Enkei Wheels. You can also get the optional spoiler, the HID headlights and the upgraded sound system. These are all nice and everything, but if you had that extra thousand available, spend on it on what i'm driving today.
Side marker and fog lamps are also very important to a car's lighting system. Side markers perform as indicators sending signals about the car's moving direction. Fog lamps are often used on foggy days. Light produced by the fog lamps provide the driver bright visibility to see road condition clearly.
The Outlander is solid and very well built. We have found no reason to complain about the quality and have found that everything works as it should and all fittings are firm as one would expect.
There's not a lot of carry over with the Evo 9 but, then again, we expected there's a pretty good reason why Mitsubishi had done that. From impressions, it's obviously to get the car a bit better balanced in its weight distribution because the exhaust manifold weighs more than the inlet manifold. By moving it backwards, it transfers a little bit more of that weight towards the rear of the car and in theory then obviously makes it handle better.
